What energy rating do Auric homes meet?
We build to meet the energy efficiency requirements of the current National Construction Code as adopted in Victoria, which sets a strong baseline for new homes. We can design above that minimum if you want a higher-performing home, and we’ll confirm the exact current standard for your build.
How does the design reduce my energy bills?
By working with your block’s orientation, controlling summer sun with eaves and glazing, and insulating well. A home that holds a comfortable temperature naturally simply needs less heating and cooling.
Can I add solar and battery storage?
Yes. We can design your home solar-ready or include a system from the start, and plan the electrical setup so adding battery storage later is straightforward rather than a retrofit headache.
What sustainable materials do you use?
We select materials for durability and efficiency as well as looks, since a home that lasts and performs well is sustainable by nature. We’re happy to talk through specific options for your build.
How do you manage water efficiency?
